These cover this website. The applications have their own licence, and this page says where to read it.

What this covers
These terms apply to playsonari.com and its pages. They are an agreement between you and Shubhra Saha, an independent developer based in India, about your use of this website.
They do not govern the Sonari applications themselves. Those are licensed separately, and the next section says by whom.
If you arrived here from the App Store looking for the agreement that covers the application you downloaded, it is not this page. It is Apple’s, linked in the next section. The document that covers both the applications and this website is the privacy policy.
The applications
Sonari for Mac and Sonari Remote for iPhone are distributed through Apple’s App Store. Neither ships a licence agreement of its own, so each is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement, which Apple publishes and maintains at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Your purchase, your receipt, your refund and your Family Sharing entitlement are all matters between you and Apple.
The software itself remains the property of Shubhra Saha. It is proprietary; it is licensed to you rather than sold, and the licence does not transfer ownership, source code, or any right to copy, decompile or redistribute it.
What this site says about the product
Every claim and every number here describes the current release of Sonari. Software changes, so where a page falls behind the application, the application is correct. Nothing here is a warranty or a promise of a future feature.
The one price this site states is the United States one. The App Store shows the figure for your own region, adjusted for local tax, and that figure is what you are charged: it is Apple’s number for your store rather than a conversion of anybody else’s.
Using the site
You may read it, link to it, and share it. Please do not:
- attempt to interfere with, probe or overload the site or its hosting;
- copy the photography, the film, the Sonari name or the Sonari mark for your own product, service or promotion;
- present the site, or anything on it, as the work of somebody else or as endorsed by somebody who has not endorsed it.
The text, photography, film, artwork, layout and code of this site are the property of Shubhra Saha. The trademarks named below belong to their owners.
Trademarks
Apple, Mac, macOS, iPhone, App Store, Mac App Store, Logic Pro and GarageBand are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries and regions. Ableton and Live are trademarks of Ableton AG. FL Studio is a trademark of Image-Line NV. Pro Tools is a trademark of Avid Technology, Inc.
Where this site shows one of those names or marks, it does so for one reason and one only: to say which programs Sonari works with. Each logo is the owner’s own artwork, unaltered except in size and, on a dark page, in a single reversed colour. The Avid mark stands for Pro Tools because Avid publish no separate logo for it.
Sonari is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise approved by Apple Inc., Ableton AG, Image-Line NV or Avid Technology, Inc., and nothing on this site should be read as suggesting otherwise. Each trademark remains the property of its owner. If an owner would rather their mark were not shown here, one message to contact@playsonari.com is enough and it comes down.
Privacy
The applications collect nothing. No account, no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no advertising and no tracking of any kind, in either Sonari for Mac or Sonari Remote. Nothing you play, record or sample leaves your own devices.
This website counts visits. It sets no cookie, stores nothing on your device and reads nothing from it, and no third party is involved: the counting is done by the same host that serves the page. That is why there is no consent banner here. It is the one place the two answers differ, and the privacy policy sets out exactly what is counted, in a table that reads the applications and the website side by side.
No warranty for this site
This website is provided as it is. It is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted, error free, or available at any particular moment, and links to other sites are offered for convenience rather than as an endorsement of what is on them. To the fullest extent the law allows, Shubhra Saha is not liable for loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law, including consumer rights in your own country or region.
Changes
These terms may change. When they do, the date at the top changes with them, and the version on this page is the one that applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you are a consumer somewhere else, this does not take away the protection your own country or region gives you.
